- [Instructor] So now you've tried cause-effect analysis, it's time to take a step back and reflect. What did you find? Did you see any surprises? What patterns emerged? Most importantly, what does it mean to you? This is where you get insight. So pause, reflect, and let the connections come together. What was hardest and easiest? A strong problem statement with impact and evidence is key. Watch out for symptoms disguised as causes. In the Do It phase, practice cause-effect analysis until it's second nature. If possible, try it as a team. Collaboration makes it more powerful. One common issue? Not leaving enough space for causes. A tip, use a second surface to park symptoms while sorting.
