There's a few traits that you should look for. Trust. When you trust your colleagues, you are able to be open and honest with them without fear of them being disloyal. This is especially valuable if you are navigating your way through a difficult period in your professional or personal life where you need a support system. Respect. When you have mutual respect with your colleagues, you'll value one another's input and find solutions based on shared ideas, wisdom, and creativity.
