- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to create some dimensions for documentation purposes. Now, we've used the dimension tool before, but when we used the dimension tool in the previous videos, it was always for the purposes of helping us build our model. Well, you can use dimensions for documentation purposes as well. So what we're going to do is just go to our dimension tool, aligned dimension, and it's available on the quick access toolbar or the annotate tab, or you can type D-I. And what I'm going to do is zoom in over here on the right hand side of my plan, and I want to direct your attention to this place dimensions panel over here. So you can set a few options here. Now I prefer wall faces for my dimensions, so that's already chosen by default, and I think that's pretty good. And then for the pick option, you have two choices, individual references or entire walls.
