- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about a very important concept, and that is regularly saving your work. Now, when you save, actually two things occur. You're saving the current file and you're also creating backups. Now, I want to talk about something that we discussed in an earlier video, and that is the save reminder settings. So let's start with that. And you can access that by going to the File menu, choosing Options, and then right here at the top, you'll see the Save Reminder Interval. Mine is set to the default of 30 minutes, but it is possible to change this. So you can go as low as 15 or you could turn it off altogether. I do not recommend turning it off, and I think for most users, 30 minutes is the appropriate setting, so I'm going to leave it set to that and I recommend that you do as well.
