Configuring a working view

- [Instructor] In this video, I want to revisit the topic of working views. So let me start by reminding you of what I mean by a working view. A working view is in contrast to what I'm going to call a sheet view. Now this is not an official name, a sheet view, neither is working view. These are both names that we apply to the function of the view in terms of how we're planning to use it. So sometimes you create a view for the purposes of helping you build your model, helping you query your model, helping you extract information. And sometimes you create a view for the purposes of sharing with an outside recipient. When you create a view for purposes of sharing with an outside recipient, you're creating, what I'm going to call, a sheet view. And when you create a view for the purposes of modeling, querying, or analyzing your model, you're creating, what I'm going to call, a working view. So this project contains both kinds.
