- [Instructor] In this video, I want to share with you some techniques for making data input a little bit more efficient with schedules. And the main tool that we're going to be looking at is a key schedule, but I've got a few other techniques to share with you first. So let me show you what we're starting with. We're starting with this large room finish schedule here. And if you scroll down, you can see it contains quite a few items. In fact, if you go all the way to the bottom, it's a grand total of 153 rooms in this building. And what my aim is, is I want to fill in the floor finish, base finish, wall finish, and ceiling finish on all 153 of these rooms. So I certainly could click into these fields, these are just text fields and begin typing in a value. So maybe we're going to put in hardwood floor for the entries and we're going to use ceramic tile in the kitchen and maybe we're going to use a carpet in the bedrooms, and I could do that.
