Hiding individual objects in a model

- [Narrator] There's lots of ways we can hide elements in Revit, most of which occur at the view level, like visibility graphics that we looked at in a previous video. And it is even possible for us to hide elements one object at a time. Now, I'm not a very big fan of that method. I think there are better ways to hide elements. But in the interest of completeness, I want to share with you how we can do element hide. And I'm just going to caution you to use it very sparingly. So let me just dive right in and show you an example. I'm going to zoom in here on this portico and select one of these columns. And with that column selected, I can either right click and choose hide and view by element or select another one here. There's also this little light bulb up here, hide elements and eh is the shortcut if you prefer. So lots of different ways to do that. So, I've hidden those elements.
