Tapered walls
- [Instructor] In this video, I want to consider tapered walls. And I've got a few examples here on screen, but let's jump right in. And I'm going to select this wall on grid line one here and scroll down and look at the properties. Notice that the cross section is currently set to vertical. This is how most of the walls that we've done in this course so far have been. In the previous video, we did slanted and put in an angle, and of course that is an easy way to slant a wall, but there's a third option here, which is tapered, but if I try to apply that to this wall, it says that this wall's type is not compatible with tapered cross-section. So that's the first little gotcha that you'll have with tapered walls. You can't just simply turn them on. You've got to configure something in the wall type first. Now, I could do it with this one, but this one's a generic wall and I think it's going to make a little bit more sense to use a wall that's got a layered assembly. So over here on grid…
