- [Instructor] Here at 3D modeling software in Revit is doing and communicating your design from multiple angles. Floor and reflected ceiling plan show the location of devices and equipment in the facility. But as we've seen in previous videos, devices are mentioned as symbols in this use, whereas scenarios where elevation and sections here become helpful. Sometimes you want to communicate the exact size of some devices or equipment. When we wish to communicate the other senses and distances between multiple devices, or you want to show the installation details with the exact dimensions, you can easily generate these vertical views in Revit and I'll show you how in this video. To get started, open the project you used in the previous video and make sure that you're on the AV communications floor plan.
