So you may be wondering what roles are in a Zoom webinar. Well, let's review them now. There are four main roles available for a webinar. Host, co-host, panelist and attendees. The role that you have in the webinar will be designated by the organizer of the webinar. The host of the webinar is the user that scheduled or created the webinar. They have full permissions to manage the webinar, panelists and attendees. There can only be one host of a webinar. As host of the webinar, I have complete control over the webinar, such as being able to turn on my audio or video. I also have a complete meeting's control bar like you've learned in Zoom meetings. Being able to control participants, raise my hand, react... I can even start recordings from the webinar control panel. I can also control all participants, as well as panelists and attendees, giving me complete control to mute audio, but also ask them to start their video, for example.
