- Distracting gestures and body language is defined as a speaker's nonverbal expressions, physical behaviors, or movements that disrupt the listener's attention or concentration. This segment on body language and facial expressions can also include issues relating to spatial relationships, like a close talker, or physical gestures that could be misinterpreted by the audience. - So, I went into the meeting feeling excited for the opportunity, but also extremely nervous because I was presenting to my organization's senior leadership. So, it was a hybrid presentation, some people in person and others watching via a video platform, and on top of that, the whole session was recorded.
