Why is data important?
- [Instructor] So I really feel like a lot of this course has been alluding to data and why data is important without actually touching on it, so I hope that here in this section and in this part of the course that we can really tie up a lot of loose ends, and package up a lot of why certain things are important and why you do stuff. So, guys, why is data important? So, first of all, it's important for building models. So you use your data to build your models to say what pieces of information are important and what you should include and what you shouldn't include. So this helps to train your model and train your AI to see different patterns. Like seeing, we've used this example before but seeing which lead source is most important. How many times a week should we be following up with the customer? What modes of communication are best for the customer and have the best outcomes? For this, data quality is absolutely huge, and the cleaner your data the better outcomes you'll derive…
