- [Instructor] The next lecture that we are going to go over is the functional requirements specification. So this is going to be a document that outlines all of the functional requirements. So in layman's terms, the product that you are delivering, what does it like actually need to do for your customer? And this should not outline how it needs to be delivered in like a bunch of specifications, but it should say we want to have our case escalation rules in line with our goal SLA, and to have that be standardized for our SLA process, and then you could link to that SLA process, and maybe that's, hey, after two days of sitting in the queue, it bumps up a tier of priority, and after another two days, it bumps up into another tier of priority. So now it should definitely not say, hey, you have to have it be like seven hours and 59 minutes and 59 seconds of time before you bump it up to the next one. And it shouldn't necessarily have all of those very, very, very niche-specific things…
