Deleting a layout - SAP ERP Tutorial
From the course: SAP S/4HANA: Beyond the Basics
Deleting a layout
- [Instructor] When our reporting needs shift, certain layouts can become unnecessary. Let's look at leading layouts that are no longer useful. We'll enter our list of sales orders reports, using transaction code VA-05. We'll run our report with open criteria. To delete a layout, we'll go to settings, layout, administration. This brings us to our layout management screen. Now we'll choose our LinkedIn learning layout to delete. We'll click delete layout. Now we have no layouts defined as our default. We'll click one SAP, orders items and choose defined default setting. We've now defined a default standard layout and we'll click save. Our layouts have been saved. We've successfully deleted a layout and defined a new default. Business priorities change. Layouts that once provided value may no longer be worth keeping. Deleting layouts is straightforward, when they're no longer useful to our organizations.
