- At the latest Shopify Unite Conference, they announced a ton of features. One exciting feature they are rolling out is the ability to add video and 3D models functionality to every store. Soon, your store can feature product videos and 3D models along with static images. Some browsers can render these 3D models and use your camera to show you the product in augmented reality, commonly referred to as AR. So let's take a look at this together, on this iPad. I'm looking at Pure Cycles, a Shopify store that has 3D models. I haven't downloaded any new app, and I'm in Safari browsing their store. I really like this bike, so I want to see what it looks like next to my friend's bike. On the product page, I'm going to tap the 3D model icon. I'm going to wait for it to load, and as soon as it loads, I'm going to tap the AR tab. Then I'm going to pan the camera around the room so that the program can find a wall and the floor.…
