What you should know before watching
- [Instructor] Although I will be doing my best throughout the course to keep you in the know with regards the locations of tools that I will be using, I will to a certain extent be assuming that you are familiar with at least the basics of using SketchUp. If you are brand new to the application and so could do with mastering the basics before being able to work through this course, then I would strongly recommend checking out some of the extremely informative SketchUp courses that can already be found in the Lynda.com online training library, maybe focusing first of all on the essential training titles. A few of the skills that you may find useful to have under your belt as you work through the course would include an understanding of photography and its general principles, with a particular focus on photographic lighting and exposure, as well of course as knowledge of working with any other render engines, whether that be inside SketchUp or in any 3D application at all.
