- [Instructor] Now let's talk modulation effects, because I love them. We're not trying to change the character of things when we do our atmos mix of a finished stereo mix. You can do whatever you like for your own music and for things that are only meant to be an atmos because stranger things have happened, but drenching something in chorus or phasers or something like that I think often is going to be too big a move for something like an atmos version of a finished stereo mix. However, we can add width and we can add depth using these things by sort of sneaking them in a little bit. Let's check out this arp here that comes in in this middle section. (gentle music) That's cool. Oh, let's look at the lead base. That arp, it's so tempting to start messing with it and I think that a little delay going to the back would be nice, but I love the little pocket that it's in. I love that it's sort of mid heavy.
