- [Announcer] There is no perfect technology. Everything has trade-offs. I hope it's not a shock to hear therefore that no-code isn't perfect. Let's consider the trade-offs you'll make using no-code tools. First, we'll start with the easy one, costs. And this third wave, it's all about the money. Some of these no-code tools cost hundreds of dollars a year to use and you may be using several tools to build the system you need. Some of the cost is because hosting and maintenance is built in to many of these tools. You don't have to pay a separate hosting fee or spend time every six weeks updating the system. There's also good tech support with some plans and that costs money, as well. Finally, most no-code software is subscription based. That means ongoing costs, rather than a single upfront cost.
