One key concept that really stood out to me was the triangular arbitrage strategy, Dr Michael shared in this course. In this situation, a trader capitalises on temporary discrepancies in the exchange of three currencies. By strategically exchanging currencies in a loop, the trader can take advantage of the rate inefficiencies, ultimately resulting in a profit. It's truly fascinating how interconnected the global markets are, and how the smallest shifts can create profitable opportunities for those with the knowledge and skills to identify them.
Overall, I'm incredible grateful for the insights and knowledge I gained from Dr Michael "Understanding Capital Markets" course.
