C- Cognitive overload is exhausting

- Cognitive overload may sound complex, but it's probably something you've seen often in training. Too many slides that are data word-heavy, overcomplicated phrases with lots of new complicated words, exercises that you don't have time for, or you're trying to listen to someone explain while you're also trying to read their complex slides. Our brains, and more correctly, our working memory, can only really successfully process one thing at a time. We can't actually multitask well, because it reduces our performance and our learning. Let's see what multitasking does for your performance with a simple exercise and join in to see how you do. I want you to time yourself as you do this task. Then, we'll repeat it slightly differently and time yourself again. In this exercise, you're going to write down all the numbers from one to 10, and then write down all letters from A to J.
