- [Instructor] There are several professional organizations whose memberships include interaction designers, depending on your background, personal interests, and possibly even where you work and the team you work with. There are organizations that can help you make connections within the design community, pursue professional training and development and find employment. There are many conferences and seminars of interest to interaction designers they're organized and offered to by professional organizations, agencies, publishers, and businesses. The list changes and grows all the time. The sizes range from small, only a few dozen people to very large thousands of people. And they take place all around the world. A few minutes of searching the web can help you find conferences and seminars relevant to your work or near you. The web is a very, very big place, and there are more online resources for interaction design than we could possibly list here, searching for information will return many possible resources. New sites appear content constantly changes as technology changes, new books are published and collections of examples, tutorials and techniques are always being assembled and shared. Find the sites you like find publishers you trust and become involved with online discussion groups to help stay abreast of current topics and trends in the field. Here are just a few sites to get you started. There are also a number of publishers providing us with both printed and electronic books on diverse topics from across the wide field of interaction design, you'll be able to find introductory books, specialized books, and academic books filled with current research and theory, keep in mind that this field changes quickly. So continue your studies to remain current.
