Navigating scenes in Descript: A new way to edit

- First things first. What exactly are scenes? Well, if you're used to other video editors, you're familiar with a timeline focused approach to editing. In almost all other video editing programs, the timeline is a central component. It's a visual representation of your project that shows the progression of events in linear time, from the start of the video to the end. It typically displays video tracks horizontally, from left, the beginning, to right, the end. You can drag and drop clips, audio files, and other media files onto it. But Descript is shaking things up. Think of scenes in Descript almost like slides in a presentation, segments of your project where you can play with visuals and add overlays or titles. This area you see here is called your Canvas and it holds all of the visual components of a scene, including videos, templates, titles, captions, images, and shapes.
