- When we were in-person in our offices, we based trust around what we saw. Were teammates in the office early? Did they stay late? Were they available to answer a quick question when you pop by their desk? In order for a hybrid or remote workplace to function well, that trust still needs to be there, and much of it is dependent on what happens during and after meetings. After a hybrid meeting, it's critical that the facilitator or a note taker summarize the call. Write down and communicate specific deadlines and action items, and then distribute it to relevant stakeholders. An email would work, but I personally recommend creating a specific team channel through Slack, Microsoft Teams, or whatever messaging system your business uses. If there are more than four people involved, your best bet is to make a channel for each new project, instead of a direct message that includes multiple individuals. This will make it…
