- Virtual production isn't completely new. It's actually been around as long as computers have assisted traditional production. What is new is the use of LED volumes combined with real-time animation to deliver effects in camera. A number of key factors converged in order to supercharge its uptake including a host of technological advances and the world situation caused by the pandemic. So, let's explore these factors.
