- [Instructor] The Windows operating system contains a built-in tool called the Deployment Image Servicing and Management Tool, or DISM, as it's more commonly referred to. This tool is typically used for imaging a system. In other words, you might create a deployment image, and then you automatically deploy that image to a system, and the DISM tool is involved in that process. But even though the DISM tool is primarily involved in imaging, it can also be used to repair a system using a parameter called Restore Health. So let's go ahead and take a look at how this works. What I'm going to do is click on the Start button. Next, I'll go to the W section, I'll expand Windows System, and then I'll right-click on Command Prompt and go to More, and then Run as administrator.
