- [Instructor] If you're experiencing performance problems in Windows 10, then one of the best tools that can help you to figure out what's going on is the performance monitor. Now the performance monitor is kind of an advanced tool and this is a basic troubleshooting course, so I don't want to get too far into the performance monitor. Even so, the performance monitor is a very useful tool. So I want to at least show you what it looks like, and how you access it. So the way that you would access the performance monitor is by right clicking on the Start button. And then going to Run, and then typing perfmon, P-E-R-F-M-O-N, and clicking OK. And this will launch the performance monitor. Now to access the performance monitor data, you'll want to click on performance monitor right here.
