- [Instructor] Occasionally, you may find that when Windows 10 experiences problems, it's because the operating system needs to have maintenance performed. One way that you can find out about any required maintenance is by using the security and maintenance console. Let's take a look at how this works. I'm going to begin by right clicking on the Start button, and then I'll go to Run, I'll type control and click OK, and this opens up the legacy control panel. From here, I'm going to click on System and Security, followed by Security and Maintenance, and this opens the security and maintenance console. So what we want to do now is to expand the maintenance section. And what you see right here is going to vary a little bit from one computer to the next, depending on how the machine is configured.
