Create a workgroup or join a domain
- [Instructor] You may want to set up a network when you have computers you'd like to share data among. You can also share printers, backup devices, and an internet connection, among other things. Before deciding on the type of network to create, though, make sure to review your options. If your computers are in different locations, you can create user accounts on each of them and store your data in the cloud. If you're a home user, it's important to note that the Home Group feature has been removed. You can share files and folders manually, though. You learned in earlier movies how to manage local groups and users. You might also consider a workgroup. A workgroup is a good option if you have several computers, say, more than five, but less than 10, and those computers are in close proximity to one another.
