- [Instructor] Windows 11 supports the use of high dynamic range, or HDR, for both the playing of streaming videos and for gaming. So let's take a look at how to enable HDR in Windows 11. I'll begin by clicking on the start button. From there, I'll go to Settings. Next, I'll click on Display and then I'll click on HDR. When configuring HDR, the first thing that you'll need to do is to select the display that you want to configure. As you can see, this PC is configured to configure HDR for Display 1, the internal display. Now there are no other displays connected to this particular PC, but if there were, you could choose an alternate display simply by clicking on the Display dropdown, right here. The next section is the display capability section. And this is where you go to enable or to disable HDR.
