- [Host] In the previous video, I showed you how to use the task manager to get an overview of how well your system is performing. Now, if you're just looking for a basic overview of performance information, the task manager does a great job, but if you need a little bit more detailed information, then my suggestion would be to use the Resource Monitor. So let's take a look at the Resource Monitor. Oddly enough, you access the Resource Monitor through the Task Manager. So with that said, I'm going to right click on the start button. From there, I'm going to click on Run. I'll type task MGR and click okay. And then I'm going to click on the task manager's performance tab. Next, I'm going to click on the more icon, and then I'm going to click on Resource Monitor. And this opens the resource monitor.
