- [Instructor] Windows 11 is built to be Bluetooth compatible, and like a cell phone, this capability can be enabled or disabled easily. In Windows 11, the easiest place is the action center. Simply click and look at the results. You can see Wi-Fi is connected and it's on. Bluetooth is not connected, but it is on, and airplane mode is off. You can also do this from Start, Settings, and Bluetooth and devices. You can see here that nothing is connected but Bluetooth is enabled and it's discoverable as desktop. You can now connect a Bluetooth device. This is also called pairing. To do this, place the Bluetooth device within pairing range of your Windows 11 PC. Although ranges vary, most can reach 30 feet or so. For now, though, go ahead and put it as close as you can, just to be safe. Now turn on the device.
