Create installation media

- [Instructor] To perform a clean installation of Windows, you'll need to create or obtain installation media. You have to boot to the installation files to start the process because you'll need to format the drive, and there's no way to format a hard drive if you're using it. One way to obtain installation media is to buy a Windows USB drive with the installation files already on it. You can get this from various online retailers as well as big box stores. You can also download the installation files from Microsoft yourself. Here are the three options. You can download the Windows 11 Installation Assistant, create your own Windows 11 Installation Media and download the Windows 11 Disc Image, also called an ISO. I prefer the media creation tool.
