Managing performance with Task Manager
- [Instructor] If you need to monitor your computer system, specifically to diagnose or enhance performance Task Manager is a great place to start. Task Manager offers a graphical user interface that includes both lists and graphs to help you gain insight into how your computer makes use of resources. You can also use Task Manager to end problematic apps and processes, and you can enhance the startup process by limiting what starts when the operating system does. One way to open Task Manager is to right-click start and click Task Manager. But there are a lot of other options. Once Task Manager opens, maximize the window. And if you see more details, click it. You want to be able to see all of the details as it's shown here. Let's take a look at what's under the processes tab.
