Change paragraph alignment in Word
- [Instructor] If you've been following along, we've seen how formatting text can really change the appearance, make a document more visually interesting. We can also apply formatting to entire paragraphs, and we're going to start with changing alignment in this movie as we continue working with our Red30 Conference document. 0401 from the chapter four folder of your exercise files if you need to get caught up. We already see some alignment here in our document. For example, the title appears to be centered at the top of the page. If we look at the next paragraph, everything is flush on the left-hand side, not so much on the right-hand side. And a little further down, we'll see that with the larger paragraphs that appear flush left, and with jagged edges down the right. So that is one option, that is the default alignment, but we can change the alignment to some other options that might improve appearance.
