Selecting and activating your full site editing theme
- [Instructor] We are ready to get started on our site, but there's something very important you need to know before we begin. In order to create a site that uses the full site editor, we must use a full site editing theme. This also falls under what developers call block themes. Most non-FSE themes use the editor for just page-and-post content, but we will be using the editor for our entire site. If you are new to FSE or WordPress website building in general, you may have questions about which theme to use. The one we'll be using and that I recommend is the Ollie WordPress Block theme. This theme is one that I have used before and that I highly recommend for FSE building. You can download the free theme at olliewp.com. After selecting download, you'll be given two download options: Ollie and Ollie Dash. For this course, we will be downloading Ollie.
