- [Instructor] They say a picture's worth a thousand words, and I think that's right. You can elevate the quality of your proposal and at the same time, add something for your potential client to remember you by by simply adding an image or graphic to it. This drawing or graphic does not have to be super detailed or refined in order to get the point across. As long as the visual information is pertinent to the project, it's clean and accurate, and there are not too many of them, it should help the proposal evaluator understand your intentions. Here's a few examples. A pencil sketch showing the work that you're proposing, maybe even a color pencil sketch, even a product image like this fireplace, especially when the product is the chief component of the project proposal. Here's a photo of a brick paver sidewalk. You can also insert a construction method detail like this. It's a diagram of a roof edge in how things are going to be assembled very specifically.
