I had the great honor to be part of the C2C4C ride from Bend, Oregon to Boise, Idaho – a 3-day journey that totaled over 220 miles. We were lucky to have fantastic weather for our adventure that saw beautiful scenery across Oregon and Idaho. There were stunning sections on Day 1 alongside rivers in Oregon, challenging climbs on Day 2 and long runs through farming districts in Idaho on Day 3. More importantly, our team bonded around the challenges presented to us as we rode for families and friends afflicted with cancer, always grateful that we could pedal to honor those who could no longer. We pushed each other to get to the pinnacle of the tough climbs and celebrated together when we reached the top! I want to thank the many people that made this experience absolutely amazing: -The C2C4C segment 2 team – the CURE-ageous Mountain Bikers 4 Cancer (Andrew Whitehead, Nishchal Sehgal, Keith Engelke, Ian McCormick, Dorys Ribeiro, SHRM-CP, Allie Ogren, Adam Barrios, Chantal Clusiau, William Rios, Prashant P Deshpande, Gregory B.). -Megan Weigel, CMPP, our amazing cheerleader who made the 3-day journey special by coordinating logistics, providing endless encouragement, and keeping us focused on who we were riding for. - Walton Endurance and Iconic Adventures, for the training, logistics, and planning that made this ride an amazing experience. - All the people that donated to this cause or helped spread the word, your generosity was humbling and I cannot thank you enough. While I have reached my goal for fundraising, there is still a huge need for funds to support critical cancer research. If you have already donated, THANK YOU! If you have yet to donate to C2C4C, please consider doing so today! Every donation helps move this fight forward. https://lnkd.in/edrjUj24 #C2C4C #BMSemployee #CancerSucks
