DX is about to release Dashboard, a new “home” that’s personalized based on your role. Now, when you open DX… - If you’re a manager, you’ll see a daily command center with real-time metrics and insights, with the ability to configure alerts directly through Slack or Teams. - If you’re an IC, you’ll get a single view of your recent work and open items. - Executives see a high-level roll-up of key metrics across teams.
Love the new dashboard!!!
This is so great to see!
I like how you’ve structured this around roles, it solves one of the biggest pain points I’ve seen with engineering metrics: the “one-size-fits-all” dashboards that end up serving nobody well. A manager doesn’t need the same view as an IC, and execs definitely need something very different. What caught my eye in the screenshot was the combination of effectiveness and impact side-by-side. Too often, dashboards over-index on throughput and defect ratios, but miss whether the work is actually moving the business needle. Surfacing both seems like a smart way to balance speed with value. One thing I’m curious about: how customizable is the weighting or prioritization inside DX? For example, some orgs would want to emphasize cycle time over defect ratio, others might want innovation ratio front and center. Do teams get control over that, or is it mostly standardized?

Loved the minimal UI!
This is a game changer!! Can’t wait to see what’s next!! BOOOOM!!!
