A visit to the wave tank facility at UniKL MIMET today provided valuable insights into ship and offshore model testing. The basin measures **30 m (L) × 10 m (W) × 6 m (D)** and is equipped with a programmable wave maker capable of generating regular, irregular, and focused waves. Instrumentation includes wave probes and motion tracking systems for accurate data acquisition.

Pushing the boundaries of subsea inspection technology. Sonomatic Limited has recently completed a successful validation of our diver-deployed subsea Phased Array and TOFD systems for a client in the Middle East. Using our Nautilus scanner, we carried out highly focused dual-sided scanning with two probes operating simultaneously - inspecting from both sides of the weld at the same time. This approach ensures: ✅Maximum accuracy ✅ Faster inspections ✅ Repeatable and reliable data The validation demonstrated exceptional precision, with all flaws accurately identified and critically sized.
