Marco Maurizi’s study featured on the cover of Nature Machine Intelligence Only a few days after being appointed 𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐃 – 𝐀𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 & 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐛, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐢 (b. 1993) is among the authors of the study selected for the cover of one of the most prestigious AI journals. The paper, “Designing metamaterials with programmable nonlinear responses and geometric constraints in graph space”, stems from his postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley, in collaboration with UCLA and Penn State University.
