🤺 In the world of enterprise software, software bloat is the main enemy we face when trying to operate at scale. It’s a silent force that gradually adds complexity, slows down processes, and frustrates users. It often starts with a single, seemingly harmless request. Let's look at how we can deal with it. https://lnkd.in/eyP-kzkU

The 750-Tool Wake-Up Call One client I worked with had just two team members. But when we did a tech audit, we uncovered something wild: 750 tools. Every shiny app had been tested. None were canceled. Subscriptions stacked. Processes splintered. Onboarding was chaos. The result? → No one knew what lived where. → Data was scattered across dozens of platforms. → Costs ballooned, while actual productivity shrank. This is the hidden danger of inefficiency. It doesn’t arrive like a crisis. It creeps in through “just one more tool.” Here’s how we fixed it: → Map the entire tech stack. → Cut duplicates and dead weight. → Standardize who had access to what. → Build a living system that supported, instead of suffocated, the business. The outcome? → Thousands in expenses cut. → Faster onboarding. → Streamlined workflows. And here’s the real lesson: Operational efficiency isn’t just about saving money. It’s about removing friction so your team can actually work. Because tools don’t run your business. Clarity does. Here's how to audit your tech stack and make sure you don't have 750 tools! https://lnkd.in/gaXgzTu3

Any time we talk about software, we seem to tacitly assume that we're discussing evergreen software. Why is software evergreen? Because it costs a lot to make it, so once it's there, we'd better keep using it. But as the industry keeps maturing, there will be less and less fascination with evergreen software. Meaning, less and less need for maintainability.
