Akbarjon Karimdjanov’s Post

American University of Technology in Tashkent hosted a three-day training program from October 22 to 24, organized by UNDP, C-Space. It brought together faculty, startup mentors to share best practices in university-based incubation, focusing on how universities can nurture entrepreneurial ecosystems and effectively support student startups. My Key Takeaway: -Universities should collaborate closely when establishing and developing startup and entrepreneurship incubators — revenue generation can come later as these ecosystems mature. During the event, we explored the importance of #startups in higher education and discussed how institutions can share resources and expertise. We identified common challenges and opportunities for mutual support in building university incubators. Our guest speakers, Alexander Lok, Bunyod Kh, and Farrukh Maksumov shared valuable industry insights and helped us benchmark international best practices in #university_incubation. Great event. Done over a period of time, this can propel Uzbekistan on the Global Innovation Index.
