Behind every great leader is a great Operations team 🤝 When people think about what drives a business forward, strategy and innovation usually come up first (and for good reason!). But behind the scenes, it’s often a strong operational structure that keeps the engine running, enabling leaders across all functions to focus on their core mandate. What I’ve learned over 15 years in global investment management is this: when operations are aligned with leaderships' priorities, the whole organization benefits. Strong operational leadership can: * Drive efficiency that frees executives to focus on strategy and growth. * Create clarity from complexity, turning vision into execution. * Provide governance and risk frameworks that give leaders confidence to move boldly. I see operations not just as a function, but as a strategic enabler of leadership success. The strongest organizations are those where management, at any level, can focus on vision, relationships, and growth while supported by a structure that keeps things moving seamlessly. As I begin a series of reflections on leadership, the investment management space, and transformation, my goal is to explore how the right frameworks and the right roles, like a Chief of Staff function, can help senior leaders amplify their impact. 👉 I’d love to hear your thoughts: What support structures make the biggest difference in allowing leaders to focus on what truly matters?
