Solutions and Development for the HR Department in Thailand To address these weaknesses, HR needs to systematically transform its role and work methods. This can begin with the following approaches: Transform into a Business Partner: HR must gain a deep understanding of the business, participate in strategic planning, and provide advice to management on personnel matters such as workforce planning to support business growth, organizational restructuring, and building a culture that supports company goals. Use data and technology: Start by collecting and analyzing HR analytics data, such as turnover rates, performance, or employee feedback, to inform strategic decision-making. Consider investing in a modern HRIS system to reduce paperwork and automate and streamline processes such as recruiting, payroll, and performance evaluations. Design a tailored talent development program: Research and analyze the competency gap between employees' existing skills and the skills the organization needs. Then, design a personalized training program tailored to each individual and department. Furthermore, foster lifelong learning. Create open communication channels: Hold regular town hall meetings or informal discussions. To provide employees with an opportunity to express their opinions and ask questions, an online channel (Employee Feedback Channel) is created for employee feedback and concerns, which can then be used to further improve the policy. Improve the performance management system: Shift from annual appraisals to continuous feedback. Provide managers and employees with regular discussions about goals, progress, and development opportunities. Establish a rewards and recognition system that is tied to actual employee performance. Improving HR is not a matter of one department; it requires the cooperation of both senior management and all employees. If HR can overcome limitations and demonstrate true value, it will contribute to sustainable long-term growth for the company. Therefore, the HR team must continuously seek knowledge of effective tools to enhance efficiency, such as LMS systems, ERP systems, APIs, and software integration systems. Strategies should be developed to develop and upskill existing employees. Summary of HR performance measurement: Collaborate with other departments to increase the performance ratio. Revenue to employee numbers should also increase.

🌟Crafting an Effective HR Portal🌟 An HR portal is a vital tool for any organization, serving as a central hub for all things related to human resources. But what makes a great one? The visual you've provided, "Original Recipe for Great HR Portal," offers a fantastic framework for thinking about this. A truly effective HR portal should be a one-stop shop, designed to empower employees and streamline HR processes. 🔸It should be built on three key pillars: ➡️Essentials: This is the foundation. It needs to provide easy access to critical information like deadlines, onboarding and new hire resources, benefits and payroll details, and company policies and procedures. A well-organized FAQ section is also crucial for quickly answering common questions. ➡️Improving Skills & Capabilities: To support employee growth, the portal should offer tools for professional development. This includes features like learning stats, courses, and assessments. Incorporating elements like "lunch and learns" and a skills directory can also foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. ➡️Grow Career: This pillar focuses on long-term career progression. A great HR portal helps employees see their future at the company. It should feature career maps and paths to provide a clear vision for advancement, detail the performance review process, and highlight available coaches or mentors. By focusing on these three areas, your HR portal can move beyond a simple repository of documents to become a dynamic platform that not only manages essential tasks but also actively supports employee growth and career development.📊 #linkedin #hrportal #humanresources #employeedevelopment #careergrowth #hrtech #origamisoftware
