Black Business Month Spotlight: Women Leading the Way August is Black Business Month, a time to celebrate the resilience and impact of Black entrepreneurs. Last year, I kicked off our first small business interview series to highlight the incredible achievements of small business owners in our Next Street network. What was unique about the businesses we highlighted for Black Business Month is that they were both led by women: Laura Donald at Axis Talent Partners and Carine Saint-Jean at Spectacular Affairs. Much of our conversations centered around how they’ve leveraged all of their identities as assets in their small business journey.
