Here’s the biggest career unlock to get ahead as a senior leader. Spend time recruiting. Listen, I know that for many revenue leaders there are literally hundreds of things to do and think about, which means when it comes to hiring it can be easy to take your foot off the gas. But legitimately, spending time really investing in the recruitment and interviewing process will not only help your organization 10x it makes your own individual role 10x easier. If you hire people that are smart, capable and get things done, it’s truly the biggest career unlock you can have. I have so many smart and capable people on the team at Levanta, people know what to do, they move fast and get things done quickly and at an incredibly high level!
