Placemaking is one of the most underrated tools in a city, organization, or business’s toolkit. Part of the reason could be that it is often one of the more overtly visual, yet largely misunderstood, devices we have to use. Placemaking is about much more than paint on walls. And when utilized effectively, placemaking can build new narratives, foster renewed excitement, and drive the investment that leads to larger, monumental change.
