Love the rebranding and the visible inclusion it brings to the fight against all blood cancers!

So appreciate all the efforts and all the staff and every volunteer do to help families touched by blood cancer. My heart ♥️is so the appreciative  part of the practical needs help these days especially... which impacts us as two seniors who are each other's care givers both on SSA and SSD on fixed incomes that many blood  cancer patients and seniors too w cancer aren't making it these days with the high cost of living for basic needs like gas and food and car repairs. We so appreciate the Susan Lang pay it forward program and one day I am continuing to advocate and hope Blood cancer unite also makes room for another practical need for cancer families in the form of a pay or forward food card allowance as well. I wish our family in honor of my husband Mark Stewart had the funds to fund it because we would do it in a heart ♥️beat if we could and had the means. Food banks are already so strapped and w the cuts too to Medicaid SNAPs programs those cancer families who don't even qualify because of that 500.00 rule where two married spouses the 2nd person can only make $500 a month many seniors and spouses can't qualify for extra help and ofteg now the food banks are taxed and don't even have adequate healthy options enough to help a cancer family. This becomes a huge burden of your doctor suggests low carb ketogenic and healthy choices.A food card is so needed these days to see a program like this for cancer families where they could qualify like the gas card would be such a blessing and hwlp to many cancer families. If we ever have a round table discuss regarding this in advocacy I would love to participate to brainstorm how we could impliment this for our blood cancer patients.

Would love to see some round table discussions on a program to help caregivers w some practical needs help for their blood cancer families like a card for some finacial help w some aid and assistance for those who don't Qualify for veterans or govt programs. It is so needed for care givers right now these days, especially w the stress we fave today and for some of us 13 yrs long journeys and often many seniors are each other's care givers on fixed income w no other means to get help in the home. A practical needs fund once or two a yr would be such a Godsend for respite grant help.

No Cracker Barrel moment here. This rebrand is genius. A more positive less clinical tone.
