🌊 Electrifying Waters: The Maiden Voyage of BMZ battery - Magnus+ in an Electric Boat! ⚡🚢  BMZ Group proudly announces another innovative application of the Magnus+ battery system – this time on water! While this technology is well known in electric buses and commercial vehicles, its versatility allows it to be used in high-energy-demand marine applications as well. 🔋 Magnus+ – A High-Performance Battery System  The Magnus+ 72.4 kWh system is a proven solution used in public transportation worldwide. Thanks to its high energy density, it enables longer journeys without frequent recharging. Its modular design allows for flexible scaling – a crucial aspect for large vessels.  ⚙️ New Battery System Architecture  To meet the market requirements, a Marine Master BMS Controller was developed, enabling parallel connection of up to 36 battery packs in 4 battery rooms, creating a total energy of 2.67 MWh. This solution ensures high reliability and efficiency.  🚢 The First Vessels are Already Sailing!  One of the first vessels utilizing this technology is a 32-meter-long modern passenger ferry, accommodating 250 passengers and 50 bicycles. Its 1440 kWh battery system, supported by solar panels on deck, enables completely emission-free operation.  ⚡ The Future of Water Transport  The development of electric propulsion in inland and coastal shipping is gaining momentum. Although strict regulations mandating full electrification are still lacking, the sector is increasingly opting for quiet, clean, and efficient electric power. Electric vessels minimize noise and emissions, making them an ideal solution for operations in nature reserves or urban ports.  Is the electrification of shipping the future? At BMZ, we believe it is! 🚀  #BMZ #Electrification #MagnusPlus #BatteryTechnology #GreenEnergy #SustainableTransport #EMobility
