In just one week, I’ll be returning to work after an incredibly purposeful paternity leave, a couple of months dedicated to building our family of four and supporting my wife in a pivotal phase of our lives. This time away was an essential chapter of deep adjustment, learning, and growing into our new roles as parents. It was filled with moments of challenge and joy that we hope laid the foundation for our children to thrive. I’m truly grateful to Salesforce and my colleagues for recognizing the importance of this time. These weeks have strengthened our family bond and equipped me with renewed focus and energy to contribute meaningfully at work. As I spend this final week getting back into my routine and sharpening my toolkit, I’m reminded that paternity leave is not just a benefit, it’s a vital investment in family wellbeing and long-term organizational strength. For those who have navigated the transition back to work after any extended family leave, I’d love to hear your advice on how to best readjust and reengage. What helped you find balance and stay effective?
